With the Remote Control Aviation industry offering ARF’s (Almost Ready to Fly) planes, where are the good ol’ boys building models? Well we have a couple here, working hard to completed this 1-10th scale B-17 Bomber.
Larry Rhodes and Bob Neider have a project that is getting people interested in building again. This kit was found, dusted off and is in now in the middle of construction. Here are the facts as we know them:
- 1-10th Scale B-17 Thunderbird
- Powered by 4-60 sized electric motors
- Weight should be 36 pounds
- Wing span 123 inches
- Split Flaps
- Retracts
This plane is in the middle of construction with the completion date this year!
