The NOMAC Field

The NEW ORLEANS MODEL AVIATION CLUB (NOMAC) also know as Kelly Field was established in the 1980's to serve as a place for R/C pilots to safely fly. The club has grown over the years and has adapted with the technology and culture. Several designated have been created for Airplanes, Helicopters, Boats, and FPV Multirotor Racing.

Airplane Area

This area is outfitted with power and workbenches

Helicopter Area

This area is spicifcally desined for helicopter pilots with protective screens and a electrical system built to handle the large amounts of amps required to charge batteries .

Boat Area

Our boat area is outfitted with a service dock and flat boat.

Multirotor FPV area

This newly designated area was created to keep up with the fast paced multirotor racing sport.


This limited space provides shelter and storage space for larger planes.
